about me

My passion for design started when I was in elementary school. I would create PowerPoint presentations with as many colors, fonts, photos, and transitions as humanly possible — they will never see the light of day. Once I got to high school, I learned the Adobe Suite and was inspired.

Since focusing on UX & UI design, I have learned the importance of having beauty and purpose can walk hand-in-hand in a project. When they don't, the user is confused and bored. I often think the user is similar to Alice, in Alice and the Wonderland — lost and wanting more — and we as designers need to help lead them. Alice said it best,

"Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?" said Alice.
"That depends a good deal on where you want to get to," said the Cat.

I love working in the design industry and on my days off the creativity doesn't stop! I love creating in my digital playground, exploring new worlds on & off the screen through movies, books, and trailblazing with my faithful puppy.

Layout

My strength lies in the layout of various types of projects. I tend to gravitate towards clean, bright, and playful designs that showcase a clear order of hierarchy. I relish working with an array of mediums, including but not limited to magazines, newspapers, books, annual reports, brochures, product catalogs, newsletters, and journals. In addition, I have experience in editing copy.

UX/UI

I specialize in designing the User Interface and User Experience of digital products. Using software like Figma and Invision, I create responsive website and app designs along with prototypes that are practical and engaging. Prior to the design process, I conduct extensive research and continuously assess the UI and UX to ensure that it is user-friendly and meets the needs of the users throughout the entire design and testing phases.
